Fab2 undertakes public education and awareness campaign work, with the view of eradicating or preventing new cases of sickle cell disease; educating and creating awareness among those in the healthcare industry and the general public about the nature, care and management of the disease. Through workshops, conferences and media campaigns, we seek to educate the public about the disease, its care and management.

Yaya, a brilliant young 5 year old warrior, had a bright future ahead of him. Born with the sickle cell anaemia condition, he lived a quality life in the US with his mother, his main carer.  Yaya suffered a crisis and was very ill during a short vacation
